Providing for Future Ministry Through
Planned Giving

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 1 Peter 4:10

What is planned giving? It really is gift planning…planning your gift to ensure that it meets your needs and those of your family while fully expressing your stewardship of God’s gifts to you. Your gift plan may include a gift made now, a gift that will take place after your death (deferred), or a combination of both.

You are invited to make a financial gift now to the Church of your choice by clicking on the button below.

Does it really matter what happens to my remains after I am dead ?

It won't matter to you, but your family will care.  You will be making it harder for them.  Because when a person dies without prearrangement, someone in the family - someone who may not be aware of your wishes will decide what kind of a funeral you will have.  And when there's a death in the family, decisions tend to be colored by grief, not governed by reason.  When a person dies without prearrangement he or she leaves an enormous burden for his or her family, so even if you don't care what happens to your remains when you die, you should make a decision to lighten your families burden.

Will I need your services if I am cremated  ?

 Probably  !

What happens after the cremation?  Cremation is only a means of disposition; it is only a method of preparing the remains.  The question still remains unanswered. What do you do with the remains ?

Do you want a visitation before the cremation ?  Do you want a memorial service ?  Do you want the remains scattered or memorialized ?  Do you want a service and then have the cremation ?

Someone has to pay and make arrangements for your funeral.  If not you !  Who ?

 Won't my insurance

 take care of it?

No, it won't.  No policy tells your family which funeral home to use or how much to spend.  Insurance only provides money and financial security for your heirs.

Your family will still be faced with decisions you could have made for them.   And your insurance benefits may not go towards the purposes you intended.

This is a Special Designed Plan, which is funded by a Life Insurance Company,

providing immediate cash for last expenses.

It generally is not taxable, and because you have a named beneficiary it avoids probate.

It is guaranteed by insurance, and there are  only a few health questions.

What this means to you is you can prepay those last costs for only a fraction of the actual costs, but the real benefit to you  is you will not become a financial burden for those you love and leave behind.
